So, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is freaking amazing.
I've watched it twice this week because I LOVE it. Donny Osmond has a beautiful voice and so does Maria Friedman. I think it was an excellent (although very silly in parts! ^_^) portrayal of the story of Joseph and his dreamcoat. I actually never knew the story of Joseph and his coat at all until I saw this musical last month when I bought the dvd. Honestly. Yes I'm apparently Bible deprived. But I learned most of my Bible stories from the Veggie Tales or movie/musical portrayals of them. It makes it funner to learn and it makes the stories more exciting. When I was little I'd watch Veggie Tales constantly, now I watch musicals like "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and movies like "The Greatest Story Ever Told" and "One Night With The King". Once I watch them I'm more interested and go read the story in my New Testament/Old Testament Bible. I have this really pretty red leatherbound one with a ribbon bookmark and a little cross embossed on the front. I love it. I especially love the Proverbs section.

Anyway I think Donny Osmond makes a wonderful Joseph. I never listened to his music as a single artist, but I love his voice. Last night I couldn't sleep and it was 5:30 AM and I heard birds singing, so I started trying to name off all 12 sons of Jacob in my head but I only got to ten of them. I was like, "Reuben, Levi, Benjamin, Simeon, Napthali, Joseph, Zebulun, Asher, Dan, Judah....Uuuuuuuuuhh...." Lol I got all twelve today. The other two are Isaachar and...Oh no, I forgot one!!!!!!! >_<

Saw the Smooth Criminal video today and Michael Jackson was like, not only the King of Pop, but I think he should be the King of Dance, too. He was such an amazing dancer, I wish I could dance half as well as he did. It's so sad that he had to die, but everything happens for a reason...God has something planned for him in heaven I suppose. Oh, well. I keep having dreams about Michael, too.

I would randomly like to announce that The Princess Bride is such a better love story than Twilight. Westley is much more romantic than Edward Cullen. And I'm not just talking about the movie. Every Twilight fan should go read The Princess Bride by William Goldman because then they'll agree that Buttercup is better than Bella and Westley is better than Edward. I fell in love with Westley when I read it. I saw the movie first, and he was okay in that I suppose. But when I read the book, I loved it even more than the movie and thought Westley was just wonderful.

Hmmm nothing else to write...A little sleepy, went through all my old toys fom when I was little today and threw away anything I didn't want to save for when I have kids when I'm an adult...I had more junk than I thought I did! Anyway, I'm rid of all that clutter now, it feels good for it to be gone. I'm a little tired from going through all of it, though. I even found some stuff I forgot about completely!
